Psalms 138: 1 - 3, 7 - 8

Dank für Errettung 1 Davids. Ich danke dir von ganzem Herzen; vor den Göttern will ich dir lobsingen. 2 Ich will anbeten zu deinem heiligen Tempel und deinem Namen danken für deine Güte und Treue; denn du hast deinen Namen über alles herrlich gemacht durch dein Wort. (Psalm 26.8) 3 Wenn ich dich anrufe, so erhörst du mich und gibst meiner Seele große Kraft.    4 Es danken dir, HERR, alle Könige auf Erden, daß sie hören das Wort deines Mundes, (Jesaja 2.3) 5 und singen auf den Wegen des HERRN, daß die Ehre des HERRN groß sei. 6 Denn der HERR ist hoch und sieht auf das Niedrige und kennt die Stolzen von ferne. (Psalm 113.5-6)    7 Wenn ich mitten in der Angst wandle, so erquickst du mich und streckst deine Hand über den Zorn meiner Feinde und hilfst mir mit deiner Rechten. 8 Der HERR wird's für mich vollführen. HERR, deine Güte ist ewig. Das Werk deiner Hände wollest du nicht lassen.
1	I give thee thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing thy praise;
2	I bow down toward thy holy temple and give thanks to thy name for thy steadfast love and thy faithfulness; for thou hast exalted above everything thy name and thy word.
3	On the day I called, thou didst answer me, my strength of soul thou didst increase.
7	Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou dost preserve my life; thou dost stretch out thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand delivers me.
8	The LORD will fulfil his purpose for me; thy steadfast love, O LORD, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of thy hands.
